Abstract
Venereal pox was identified in four flocks of breeder turkeys following semen collection and artificial insemination. Proliferative fungate lesions were confined to the vent, cloaca, and, rarely, the oviduct. It was concluded that semen collection and artificial insemination may facilitate mechanical transmission of poxvirus.Entities:
