Abstract
One hundred benign and ten malignant pleomorphic adenomas of the parotid gland were analyzed. Follow up ranged from two to 20 years. Of 54 cases of benign pleomorphic adenoma of the parotid gland, recurrence was noted in five cases (9.2%). The five-year recurrence rate was 17.2%. Of the six malignant pleomorphic adenoma, recurrence within the first ten years took place in four patients (66.6%).Entities:
