Abstract
The cytology of a pulmonary oncocytoma diagnosed by bronchial brushings is described along with the light and electron microscopic findings. Ultrastructurally, the tumor cells showed mitochondrial hyperplasia and an absence of neurosecretory granules. The possible histogenesis of pulmonary oncocytomas is discussed.Entities:
