Diagnostic and operative arthroscopy of the ankle technique and indications.

The technique of ankle arthroscopy is outlined and cases are presented illustrating some of its current applications. The author believes that ankle arthroscopy can play a valuable role in both the evaluation and treatment of traumatic, degenerative, and inflammatory disorders of the synovial and articular linings of the joint.
