Abstract
Rheumatology and nephrology have some characteristics in common. In some places this leads to the marginalization of the respective other discipline, instead of an interdisciplinary morbidity-oriented approach. In order to cope with the complexity of systemic autoimmune diseases, a care mandate should be defined and interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral structures, such as interdisciplinary boards or special outpatient clinics should be established.Entities:
