Abstract
An enzyme linked immunosorbent assay for antibodies to bovid herpesvirus 4 was developed using antigen prepared by detergent lysis of infected cell cultures. The assay was used to study the immune responses of experimentally-immunised calves. The results correlated well with the indirect fluorescent antibody method. A viral neutralizing antibody response could not be demonstrated in the calves.Entities:
