Abstract
To our knowledge, we report the seventh synovial sarcoma of the base of the tongue in the world medical literature. Synovial sarcomas in this location are generally believed to arise from mesenchymal tissue above the hyoid. The surgical and radiation therapy of the primary and various chemotherapeutic programs used in the attempt to control the metastases are outlined. Early surgical therapy followed by radiation therapy before metastases is the best hope for cure.Entities:
