Abstract
The current approach to treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) includes early and aggressive intervention aiming to reach early and persistent low disease activity and remission. New drugs have improved the therapeutic armamentarium of rheumatologists, providing new options for patients. Beyond these innovations, new evidence has improved the safety of therapies and provided tools for the optimisation of long-term management of RA. This paper reviews the most relevant studies published over the last year in the field of treatment of RA.Entities:
