Dear Sir,We would like to thank the authors for taking keen interest in the surgical technique of limited anterior vitrectomy in phacomorphic glaucoma that we have described.[1] We read the technique of “toilet vitrectomy” described by them.[2] As the authors have described, it is a good technique for performing mid-vitrectomy and anterior vitrectomy under constant visualization. Our technique has been described in phacomorphic glaucoma cases where posterior segment is typically not visualized. We, therefore, prefer to perform the vitrectomy as an extraocular procedure at the port, considering that intraocular procedure in such cases would be essentially a blind procedure and fraught with its own risks.
