Abstract
Fracture of lateral condyle with dislocation of the elbow joint is rare in pediatric age. Diagnosis and management of these injuries could be a challenge. Delayed presentation of such injuries could be mistaken for a malunited supracondylar fracture of the humerus and treatment of these injuries remains controversial. We present 2 such cases, where the diagnosis of dislocation of elbow was missed at initial presentation and caused diagnostic confusion at late presentation. The problems faced in the diagnosis of these injuries and the management of late presenting cases are discussed.Entities:
