Abstract
Cardiac surgery has adapted to new demands and the development of new technologies has become a necessity. With this in mind, the interest in minimally invasive aortic valve replacement has grown tremendously. It is evident that the learning curve is an important consideration in the adoption of new technologies and has an impact on outcomes while it is being navigated. In this review, we discuss the process of knowledge transfer and quality control in the setting of minimally invasive aortic valve replacement.Mesh:
