Abstract
We report the first case of subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus presenting with exfoliative erythroderma. Although our patient had uniquely extensive skin disease, she had the clinical, histologic, serologic, and immunogenetic features of subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus. Complete remission was obtained with a short course of systemic corticosteroids and long-term hydroxychloroquine therapy. We briefly discuss the usual features of subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus.Entities:
