Solid and broken lines represent approximated activity recovery for N2O reduction in each strain and the 95% confidence interval of each approximated line, respectively. For the approximation, triplicate and duplicate data were used for the two Azospira sp. strains and Ps. stutzeri, respectively.
Figure 5Dynamics of nosZ gene expression in Azospira sp. I09 under three different redox conditions. The gaseous compositions were ambient air (N2O: 0.34 ppm) in Phase 1, N2 (N2O: <0.005 ppm) in Phase 2, and N2 + N2O (N2O: 100 ppm) in Phase 3, respectively. The gas flow rate was consistently 0.5 L/min.
