There were no significant differences (p > 0.05) in the parameters listed in Table 1 between patients with axial psoriatic arthritis (AxPsA) and patients with ankylosing spondylitis (AS). Similarly, there were no significant differences (p > 0.05) in age, gender, visual analogue scale (VAS) spinal pain score, Ankylosing Spondylitis Quality of Life (ASQoL) or Bath Ankylosing Spondylitis Disease Activity Index (BASDAI) in patients with AxPsA or AS compared with controls
