Erratum: Knowledge, Attitude, and Awareness among Diabetic Patients in Davangere about the Association between Diabetes and Periodontal Disease.

[This corrects the article on p. 381 in vol. 7, PMID: 29387625.].

In the article titled “Knowledge, attitude, and awareness among diabetic patients in Davangere about the association between diabetes and periodontal disease”, published on pages 381-388, Issue 6, Volume 7 of Journal of International Society of Preventive and Community Dentistry,[1] the affiliation of Rekha Puttannavar and Zeenath Ambareen is written incorrectly as “Department of Periodontics” instead of “ Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology” and “Department of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry” respectively.

Also, the name of the first/corresponding author is written incorrectly as “Shruthi Mavinahally Shanmukappa” instead of “Shruthi Mavinahally Shanmukhappa”.

The “How to cite this article” section should read correctly as “Shanmukhappa SM, Nadig P, Puttannavar R, Ambareen Z, Gowda TM, Mehta DS.
