Abstract
BACKGROUND: Sleep in preschool children is an important factor for their health and active lives. The lack of adequate sleep in preschool children is a serious public problem in Japan. The relationship between health literacy (HL) and health status is well recognized. The study subjects were divided into two groups according to a total health literacy score of above or below the cutoff value of 50. Data are expressed as mean ± standard deviation or number (percentage). BMI, body mass index.
