Abstract
Kytococcus schroeteri is a commensal organism of the human skin, which may cause serious infections in immunocompromised patients. We report the first case of K. schroeteri bacteremia in a child with congenital adrenal hyperplasia, identified by matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization-time of flight mass spectrometry (Bruker Daltonics, Germany).
