Abstract
The number of wheelchair users in the UK is increasing, and it may be more convenient and appropriate for many of these individuals to receive their dental care in a general dental practice rather than in a community or tertiary facility. This article is intended to provide the average general dental practitioner (GDP) with the basic tools and increased confidence to effectively triage this cohort of the population, and accept them for treatment or refer appropriately.Entities:
