Abstract
Dental caries and periodontitis are amongst the most common diseases affecting humans worldwide. There is an evolving trend for dental and medical research to share knowledge on the etiology and promising therapies for human diseases. Inspired by the success of fecal microbiota transplant to manage gastro-intestinal disordes, oral microbiome transplant has been proposed but not yet tested in humans. This article critically reviews the potential of oral microbiome transplant for managing oral diseases.Entities:
