Presymptomatic testing for Huntington chorea: ethical and legal issues.

Abstract

The recently developed presymptomatic test for Huntington chorea presents ethical and legal issues relating to the interests of fiduciary and nonfiduciary third parties. The issues are examined, and the resulting dilemmas are evaluated with respect to ethical principles and to current law.
