Abstract
INTRODUCTION: Inherited ABO blood groups have been shown to play possible contributions in the pathogenesis of various gynecologic and non-gynecologic carcinomas. With regard to gynecologic carcinomas, there is a confined number of studies that explored the relationship between ABO blood group and endometrial carcinoma (EC) in the PubMed-indexed literature. To the best of our knowledge, no such study has ever been conducted in Saudi Arabia.Entities:

Patient characteristics and univariate associations between ABO blood groups and several clinico-pathological factors for endometrial carcinoma
NS: not significant
1 ABO blood groups were analyzed as four types (A, B, AB and O)
2 ABO blood groups were analyzed as two types (non-O and O)
In 1 and 2, percentages (%) were calculated according to the total of individual row categories (that is, clinico-pathological factors)
* Two-tailed chi-square test; statistical significance was determined as p<0.05
