Anomalies of the common carotid artery: a rare complication of radical neck dissection.

Abstract

Anatomical variants of the common carotid artery are rarely reported. Two different congenital anomalies of the common carotid artery, encountered during radical neck dissection, are documented and their surgical significance discussed.
