Abstract
We investigated an Italian OXA-181-producing Escherichia coli clinical isolate (ECS1_14) by whole-genome sequencing. The strain coharbored blaCTX-M-15, blaCMY-2, and qnrS1 genes; it belonged to ST410(Achtman)/ST692(Pasteur) and phylogroup A. The blaOXA-181 gene was harbored on a plasmid highly similar (99% identity) to the pOXA181_EC14828 plasmid, recently reported in China.Entities:
