Sir,The recent publication in the journal on validation of vaccine information in the website is very interesting.[1] According to that publication, it was concluded that “it is quite essential that we provide people with the reliable information on vaccination safety, especially through Internet, as it is the most preferred source of option accessed by people in the current era.” In fact, there are plenty of posted data regarding drug, vaccine, and other treatment in medicine on Internet in several website in the present day and it becomes the common source of information that general people access to the health information. Of interest, the incorrect data on the general website are not uncommon, and there is usually no control of the data. Focusing on the data of the vaccine, there is sometimes incorrect data regarding effectiveness and safety.[2] Hernández-García and González Celador noted that it was necessary to promote local people to use the data from the official website of the governmental public health agencies for getting the data on vaccination.[2] In the worst case, some incorrect data might be proved on the website of some unethical private medical center for promoting the sale of vaccine aiming at making a profit. A noted the poor control of health data on the website is observed in developing countries where the local people usually have low education. How to have the strict legal control on the misconduct through disguised information posting on Internet should be the big issue for discussion in medicine and law.
