The Authors Reply We thank Khazaei, Mansori and Veisani for their interest in our article (1). We read their Letters to the Editor in Internal Medicine (2) and now pen our response. Our research was analyzed using traditional statistical methods used in many previous studies. We understand that the current study will make valuable contributions to the field of statistical methods. It may be necessary to incorporate further progress made in the field of statistics into the statistical methods used in clinical research in the future. Thank you for your meaningful comments.
