Abstract

An investigation of the biochemical, nutritional and pathogenic reactions of strains of Pseudomonas syringae pv. japonica and Ps. syringae pv. syringae showed them to be indistinguishable. Pseudomonas syringae pv. japonica is a junior synonym of Ps. syringae pv. syringae.
