Postoperative cholangitis occurred within the first year after pancreaticoduodenectomy in 15 patients (53.6%) and within 2 years after surgery in 23 patients (82.1%). Cholangitis occurred more than 1000 days postoperatively in the remaining 5 patients (17.9%)
