[Pre- and postnatal support through haptonomy].

Catherine Dolto1.

Abstract

Pre- and postnatal haptonomy constitutes a quality form of support for babies and their parents, from the final months of pregnancy through to the acquisition of walking. It contributes to the development of infants' emotional, sensory and tonic-postural security, enabling them to start to move and engage with confidence in life and in relationships.
