Abstract
The direct and antibody-dependent allergic autocytotoxicity (ACT) response, mediated by food antigens and its immunoregulation with bacterial lysate of the eight most common pathogens of the upper respiratory tract--Broncho-Vaxom (BX), was investigated in fifteen bronchial asthma patients and eight normal control individuals. Under the described experimental conditions, the BX inhibits ACT response in vitro. In analyzing the mechanism of this effect, the enhancement of T suppressor cells by BX was under consideration.Entities:
