Abstract
Gingival recession is a common clinical condition that creates unfavorable esthetics and dentinal hypersensitivity. Treatment of gingival recession aims to create or increase keratinized tissue and provide root coverage. The aim of this article is to present 2 clinical cases of severe Miller Class II gingival recession with absence of keratinized tissue. Each patient was treated with a free gingival graft associated with a coronally positioned flap. Follow-up indicated that the use of the free gingival graft was effective in increasing keratinized tissue and in covering the recession in a satisfactory manner.Entities:
