Abstract

This report chronicles the major developments in the Jesse Jackson 1988 Campaign and their consequences for the establishment of a national health program in the United States. It describes the characteristics of the Jackson 1988 Campaign, and the set of events that led to the rediscovery of the national health program by the Democratic Party of the United States.
