Abstract
Surgery for the management of infantile hemangiomas has become commonplace. Surgical technique articles are plentiful; however, little has been written about the timing of surgery. Knowledge of the biology of the tumors, data from developmental psychology, and the utility of facial reconstruction provide guidelines for timing of surgical intervention.Entities:
