Abstract
BACKGROUND: Spondyloarthritis (SpA) is a group of articular inflammatory rheumatic diseases that their gastrointestinal manifestations are around 10% of their extra-articular symptoms, supporting that the inflammatory response of the intestinal mucosa could be associated with the clinical status.Entities:

Figure 1Positive gastrointestinal autoantibody percentage in the studied population. Statistical associations by Chi square test. The figure shows the frequency of positive autoantibodies according groups. A statistically significant difference was established between ASCA levels of the patients with SpA compared to the patients with IBD. Also, statistical significance was found between levels of anti-DPG IgA and IgG antibodies in the patients with IBD (44.89 IU/mL) compared to the SpA (16.91 IU/mL) patients. p-ANCA shows statistical associations with IBD, likewise, the ANAs with SpA.
Association between BASDAI and gastrointestinal symptoms in SpA population.
