Preview Peripheral neuropathy affects about one in five older persons, yet it is often not recognized as a cause of falls. Why do patients with peripheral neuropathy fall? The authors, who have studied this subject extensively, describe specific impairments, explain simple clinical techniques to identify functionally significant nerve dysfunction, and suggest ways to help patients prevent further falls.Entities:
