Abstract
With a rise in the prevalence of chronic wounds and other soft tissue defects, there is an urgent need to regenerate skin. Multilineage-differentiating stress-enduring cells were identified as distinct pluripotent stem cells in mesenchymal cell populations in humans. New research demonstrates the ability to effectively differentiate multilineage-differentiating stress-enduring cells into fibroblasts and keratinocytes for skin reconstitution.Entities:
