Abstract
In the context of patient safety, the concept of 'Just Culture' is of the utmost importance. Just Culture implies that quality systems in health care should focus on learning from incidents and errors rather than on blaming individuals; however, the basic assumptions of Just Culture cannot always be upheld in certain specific circumstances.
