Abstract
The mosquito microbiota is known to naturally limit malaria transmission, acting directly on parasites and via effects on mosquito immunity and fitness. Using genetically modified bacteria and mosquitoes, two studies uncover new potential of this multipotent prospective tool to reduce disease transmission.Entities:
