Abstract
Primary invasive adenocarcinoma of the bladder was diagnosed in a fifty-two-year-old male with a two-month history of irritative voiding symptoms. He was treated with three courses of cisplatinum, methotrexate, and vinblastine with marked regression of tumor shown radiographically and cystoscopically. Subsequent prostatocystectomy and ileal loop diversion revealed invasive tumor through the bladder wall to regional lymph nodes. The patient had two postoperative courses of the same chemotherapeutic regimen and is without evidence of disease recurrence at one year.Entities:
