Abstract
Superficial angiomyxoma (SA) is one of the superficially located myxoid soft tissue tumor. Because of the rarity of this tumor, there is paucity of fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) findings. Here, we present a case of SA in a 14-year-old girl who presented with a left leg swelling. The cytology of the lesion along with the histopathologic correlation is presented.Entities:

Figure 1(a) FNAC smear showing abundant myxoid or fibrillary fragments (Giemsa stain ×100). (b) FNAC smear showing the myxoid fragments along with entrapped (Giemsa stain ×400) (c) and scattered bland spindle cells (Giemsa stain ×400)
Figure 2(a) MRI of the lesion. (b) Gross examination: Myxoid areas with hemorrhagic areas, however, with no necrosis. (c) H and E of the lesion showing fibromyxoid stroma with numerous arborizing blood vessels. Minimal inflammatory infiltrate seen (H and E stain ×40). (d) IHC showing positivity for vimentin (IHC: Vimentin ×200) and (e) CD34 in the tumor cells (IHC: CD34 ×400)
