Abstract
Minimally invasive esophagectomy (MIE) has gained popularity over the last two decades as an oncologically sound alternative to open esophagectomy. Robotic assisted minimally invasive esophagectomy (RAMIE) has been developed at few highly-specialized centers, and overall experience with this technique remains limited.
