Abstract
In a study of 135 schizophrenic and 46 manic male patients treated with neuroleptics, a significantly higher proportion of the manic patients (26.1%) than of the schizophrenic patients (5.9%) developed acute dystonia. This suggests a higher vulnerability to acute extrapyramidal symptoms in mania.Entities:
