Abstract
An efficient protocol for the copper-catalyzed preparation of aryl dithiocarbamates from aryl iodides and inexpensive, environmentally benign tetraalkylthiuram disulfides was developed. The features of mild reaction conditions, high yields, and broad substrate scope render this new approach synthetically attractive for the preparation of potentially biologically active compounds.Entities:
