Abstract
A single extraction technique for measuring pentobarbital and other barbiturates in serum involved high-pressure liquid chromatography and UV detection yielding a sensitivity for pentobarbital of about 1 microgram/ml. We concluded that the assay provides a practical method for use in pharmacokinetic studies and in serum concentration monitoring in experimental animals.Entities:
