Abstract
This paper describes liver lobe torsion in a white-lipped tamarin (Saguinus labiatus) and an Alaotran gentle lemur (Hapalemur alaotrensis). Both animals had a history of acute collapse, and diagnosis was made post-mortem. To the authors' knowledge, these are the first reported cases of this pathology in non-human primates.Entities:
