In the article, “The history of biomechanics in total hip arthroplasty”, which appeared in the pages 359-67, Issue 4, Vol. 51 of Indian Journal of Orthopaedics1, the name of first author “Houcke JV” is incorrectly printed, instead of “Van Houcke J”. This has now been corrected and reposted online.
