Abstract
Endoplasmic reticulum-mitochondrial contacts (EMCs) regulate multiple critical cellular activities, dysregulation of which correlates with various human maladies such as neurodegenerative diseases. A new study makes use of the ascorbate peroxidase proximity-labeling proteomics approach to scrutinize the components of EMCs in live cells, leading to the identification of reticulon 1A as a novel promoter of EMCs.Entities:
