Retraction: Gastrointestinal dysfunction in idiopathic Parkinsonism: A narrative review.

[This retracts the article on p. 126 in vol. 21, PMID: 28331512.].

It has been brought to attention by the Editor-in-Chief, editorial team and ethical committee of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences that the review article entitled “Gastrointestinal dysfunction in idiopathic Parkinsonism: A narrative review” published in Journal of Research in Medical Sciences, 2016, 21:126 (26 December 2016),[1] has number of unattributed sections of content with high rate of similarity. Duplicate publication violates the editorial policy of Journal of Research in Medical Sciences which follows best practice guidelines given by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) mentioned on the Information for Authors and as codified in the signed statements made by the authors regarding the copyright of their work. This article has been retracted at the request of the Editor-in-Chief, Editorial Board and Authors.
