Abstract
The Arp2/3 complex nucleates branched actin networks and is thought to be essential for macrophage migration and phagocytosis. In this issue of Developmental Cell, Rotty et al. (2017) show that there is only a surprisingly specific requirement for Arp2/3 in integrin-dependent macrophage functions, including CR3 phagocytosis and haptotaxis on fibronectin.Entities:
