Abstract
Background: Hemodynamic perturbations can be anticipated in deep brain stimulation (DBS) surgery and may be attributed to multiple factors. Acute changes in hemodynamics may produce rare but severe complications such as intracranial bleeding, transient ischemic stroke and myocardium infarction.
