Figure 164-year-old woman with breast cancer. 18F-FDG PET/CT showed the breast tumor in the right breast (A) with axillary and sternal metastases (B), which were also identified on conventional studies. There were also increased 18F-FDG uptake on small extra-axillary lymph nodes in the internal thoracic chain and anterior mediastinum (C), which were not identified on conventional exams.
